Symptoms
On : C2M 2.7.0.3.0 version, Installation and Patching
Remark Device Event from IMD defaults to D1-DeviceEventMap Ext. Lookup instead of HES Ext. Lookup.
ACTUAL BEHAVIOUR:
-------------------------
Reader Remark Device Event creation process is not invoking our Head-End System specific Device Event Mapping Extendable Lookup. This is specific to when the Scalar IMD includes a value in the External Event Name field. We had successful tests occurring where the RR Event would be created as expected using our CM ext. lookup, but after patching (August rollup and a few hot fixes applied in September), this is no longer occurring.
ERROR:
--------
Input request field External Event Name has an invalid value. Invalid Extendable Lookup value 00000001. Valid values are for BO D1-DeviceEventMappingLookup.
STEPS:
-------
1. Create a Head End System, e.g. Itron FCS
2. Create CM Device Event Mapping Extendable Lookup BO, link to the Service Provider.
3. Supply External Event Name in Scalar IMD.
4. Should see error: Input request field External Event Name has an invalid value. Invalid Extendable Lookup value 00000001. Valid values are for BO D1-DeviceEventMappingLookup (e.g. ...).
