%D In Calculation Rule Causes "Base Days Field Invalid" Error. (Doc ID 2726319.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 28, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.6.0.1.0 to 2.7.0.3.0 [Release 2.6 to 2.7]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using 'Wastewater Charge %D' (or any Description On Bill with %D) on a Calculation Rule causes Rate Check to fail with "Base Days field invalid".

Using Rate Component Classic "Description On Bill" of 'Wastewater Charge %D' returns the expected (eg. "for 15 of 30 days") when tested with Rate Check.

Removing %D is the only workaround but this results in our Calculation Group-based bills being different from our Rate-Component based bills.
