Error 'Schema Token not replaced: ${ppm.px_tablespace}' When Attempting to Migrate a P6 Database from a PPM Schema to an EPPM Schema (Doc ID 2727143.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to migrate a database from a PPM to an EPPM database schema, the following error occurs:

Error in Run SQL Script orppm_pm_migrate.sql: DatabaseToolException (Token not replaced: ${ppm.px_tablespace}

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Launch the P6 PPM migration.bat /.sh utility.
  2. Select the option to migrate the database schema from PPM to EPPM.
  3. Configure the Source and Target database configuration information.
  4. When prompted, check the Use existing boxes for the base and PX tablespaces.
  5. Start the migration.
  6. Observe the reported error during the migration process.
