Applies to:
Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 12.0.2.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC) 12.0.2.0.0 version,
It is observed that the Primary Voucher and Wallet Server (VWS) crashes on start-up with the below Error and unable to process sync files.
ERROR
-----------------------
Here due to some unchecked DEBUG output, the primary VWS on the platform became full. This caused the node to stop handling traffic, and it switched onto the secondary node for a time. Once this was noticed, the problem was corrected, disk space cleared and the SLEE was restarted. However, some instances of beVWARS did not correctly recover, and the beServer is still waiting for this before letting clients in. As it stands, the primary VWS is completely inactive and the secondary is taking all traffic.
