Last updated on DECEMBER 09, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 12.0.0.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The available fields in addlifecycledetails jconsole operations are the following

---> productType | Rule |Transition | isUsage

The rules/transition formats from charging-settings.yaml are like the following examples:

1.
  <ruleConfiguration
  config-class="oracle.communication.brm.charging.appconfiguration.beans.lifecycle.RuleConfiguration"
  rule="((@productState == "INSTALLED") && (@usageDirection == "0")) => "TRUE"" type="USAGE"/>
  <ruleConfiguration

2.
  <ruleConfiguration
  config-class="oracle.communication.brm.charging.appconfiguration.beans.lifecycle.RuleConfiguration"
  rule="(((@productState == "INSTALLED") && (getObject("oracle.communication.brm.charging.rating.RatingContext#request/payload/attribute?X-SERVICE-TYPE/toString") == "MOC")) && (getObject("oracle.communication.brm.charging.rating.RatingContext#request/eventType/toString") == "EventDelayedSessionTelcoGsm")) => "TRUE"" type="USAGE"/>

3.
  <transitionConfiguration
  config-class="oracle.communication.brm.charging.appconfiguration.beans.lifecycle.TransitionConfiguration"
  transition="(@productState == "INACTIVE") => [state:"ACTIVE",expiration:"365",duration:"days"]" type="EXTERNAL_TOP_UP"/>

Queries:
1.Where are those values stored? (into cache or inside pod xml file?)
2.How to add the values via jconsole? and how to check whether it is properly loaded or not after loading them via jconsole?
