Two Downgrade Reports Consecutively Scheduled (Doc ID 2731582.1)

Symptoms

Two downgrade reports are consecutively scheduled for a case unexpectedly in the following scenario.

Steps to Repeat:

  1. Prepare a product in Argus Console.
  2. Create a Report Rule with Timeframe = 15 days matching the console product in order to schedule an E2B report.
  3. Create a new case. Initial Receipt Date = 26-MAY-2020.
  4. Enter data for case.
    • 1 Products
      3 Events
      .....|--1st event = Event-A --- Serious / Related / Unlisted
      .....|--2nd event = Event-B --- Serious / Not Related / Unlisted
      .....|--3rd event = Event-C --- Serious / Related / Listed
  5. Click [Auto Schedule].
    • Initial E2B is scheduled by the Report Rule.
      Initial E2B --- Due Date = 10-JUN-2020. (26-MAY-2020 + 15 days)
  6. Lock the case, generate and submit the Initial E2B report.
  7. Unlock the case as Significant Follow-up.
    • Follow-up Received Date = 18-AUG-2020 --- Significant.
  8. Delete the 3rd event.
  9. Set the 2nd event to Not Serious.
    • (Un-check all event seriousness check boxes for the event.)
  10. Lock the case.
  11. Unlock the case with reason Significant Follow-up specifying it as an Amendment.
    • Follow-up Received Date = 18-AUG-2020 --- Significant.
      Follow-up Received Date = 18-AUG-2020 --- Significant + Amendment.
  12. Set the 1st event to Not Serious.
    • (Un-check all event seriousness check boxes of the event.)
  13. Confirm Case Seriousness is set to Not Serious.
    • Case Form >> Analysis >> Case Serious = No.
  14. Click [Auto Schedule].
    • Downgrade Initial (A1) E2B is scheduled by the Report Rule.
      Initial E2B --- Submitted
      Downgrade Initial (A1) E2B --- Due Date = 02-SEP-2020. (18-AUG-2020 + 15 days)
  15. Lock the case, generate and submit the Downgrade Initial (A1) E2B report.
  16. Unlock the case as Significant Follow-up.
    • Follow-up Received Date = 18-AUG-2020 --- Significant.
      Follow-up Received Date = 18-AUG-2020 --- Significant + Amendment.
      Follow-up Received Date = 28-AUG-2020 --- Significant.
  17. Change the 2nd event from Event-B to Event-D.
  18. Save the case.
  19. Click [Auto Schedule].
    • Another Downgrade report is scheduled.
      Downgrade F/U#1 E2B scheduled by the Report Rule as Downgrade Initial (A1) E2B
      Due Date of Downgrade F/U#1 E2B = 12-SEP-2020. (28-AUG-2020 + 15 days)
