Query For Safety Stock Filter Does Not Work Properly. No Matter What Percentage Is Entered (Doc ID 2735208.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 15, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.2.8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

12.2.8

PROBLEM
-------------
Using Exception query and condition
% quantity below safety stock - Greater than - 1 returns no data

Only works using LESS than since all numbers for the exception are negative....
Does not make sense that the exception numbers are negative for both Quantity and % quantity below safety stock

STEPS
--------
Create situation where SS is below requirement and use exception set to trigger the exception on the item.
Review plan exceptions and try creating exception query using Greater Than
Compare to Exception query using Less than

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
----------------------------
Greater than should logically return rows where % below SS is > number -e.g. % quantity > 25
