Imexpire does not seem to log to the transaction log.

One of the uses of ISS is its fine-grain event logging.  For example, a splunk query like the following can be performed:

 "expunge*" host="host" "Received event ExpungeMsg" "imap://*@host.example.com/*"

and it will find 43,590 events between 02:18 and 02:19 on 10/19. For example:


The full UID list in that message was 2174 characters.

How would the same type of information be extracted from Elasticsearch?
Or, why doesn't imexpire log this information to the transaction log?
