Users Are Unable to Complete the Transaction When a Non Ranged Item is Scanned During Item Basket Creation (Doc ID 2736694.1)

Symptoms

In SIM Handheld(HH), Users are unable to proceed further when user scan a non ranged item.

Error: "Item is not ranged and cannot be added"

Steps To Recreate:

  1. Login to SIM HH.
  2. Navigate to Item Basket > Create Item Basket > Enter Alternate ID.
  3. Select item Basket Type as Item Basket.
  4. Scan a Ranged Items (Don’t click enter on HH device).
  5. Scan non ranged item after a ranged item: System throws an error message and when user click on OK the cursor goes back to main screen without saving any data.
