What is the /transaction_id Class (Doc ID 2740894.1)

Goal

It is mentioned in Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) 12 documentation that one can use the below object for transaction management, but there is not much information about it. In the transaction management opcodes (like OP_TRANS_OPEN) too there is no mention about two-phase commit.

Class /transaction_id
Used for pseudo-two-phase-commit transaction management.


Can this object /transaction_id be used in designing any two-phase commit scenarios?
