Why BRM Dropping Last Decimal Places If It Is Zero
(Doc ID 2741060.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 02, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.22.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
An user has some products whose cycle charges are $10.50. The currency is set up to show two decimal places and the products are configured as $10.50, but the event shows charge as $10.5 (only one decimal place). The last zero after the decimal is dropped off automatically.
Though it does not change the monetary value, the reports are fetching value directly from the event_bal_impact_t table, and not having 2 decimal places consistently for all charges is delivering a bad customer experience.
Please let us know how to retain the 0 in the decimal places?
For example, $10 should be $10.00, $10.5 should be $10.50 always to two decimal places.
