Coherence Behavior. (Doc ID 2741942.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 14, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 11.3.0.9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Qn1: If the Elastic Charging Engine(ECE) cache is corrupted, is it required to rebuild the ECE cache all over again? it means is it required to restart ECE from scratch?

Qn2:Let us say 3 Virtual Machines(VM), each VM has 4 ECS nodes created
  Total = 3 *4 = 12 ECS nodes

Scenarios:
- One of the ECE server shutdown gracefully(1 VM) , this is not an issue, HA works in this case
- When power off for 1 VM (Abruptly shut down) during this time seen data loss and HA is not working, needs to re-start the complete ECE to get into working status.

Question :
Do we support High Availability(HA) when one of the ECE VM abruptly shut down(power off), will customer data sync happens with rest of the two ECE VM's ?

ECE version : ECE – 11.3.0.9.7.
Coherence version – 12.2.1.3.2
JDK version : jdk1.8.0_101
