Last updated on JANUARY 13, 2021

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a transaction level item belongs to more than one sellable pack and sales for those different sellable packs happen on the same day for the same store, the salesprocess.ksh will fail with the following error message:

Error:
salesprocess~20200717031456~EXEC_SQL ~
@0TABLE_LOCKED@1ITEM_LOC_HIST
salesprocess~20200717031456~PROCESS_SALES~CORESVC_SALES_UPLOAD_SQL.PROCESS_SALES Process:162192 Thread: Failed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Load an RTLOG that contains a lot of sales for multiple pack items containing the same component item via saimptlogi.
2) Run saexprms to create POSU file.
3) Run uploadsales to load POSU file.
4) Run salesprocess.ksh and notice errors.
