Goal
On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC) 12.0.2.0.0 version,
Due to the nature of Diameter Control Agent (DCA), it is not possible to use the mapping configuration to manipulate some base Attribute Value Pairs (AVPs), specifically, the following AVPs in the response:
- Granted-Service-Units
- Event-Timestamp
- Credit-Control-Failure-Handling
Diameter specs mentioned these AVPS as below:
Granted-Service-Unit (GSU)
- For Requested-Action type DIRECT_DEBIT, in the success case, this is the same as the Requested-Service-Unit AVP in the corresponding request. Otherwise, not present.
- Requests don't contain Requested-Service-Unit (RSU)
Event-Timestamp
- Set to the value of the Event-Timestamp AVP from the corresponding request.
Credit-Control-Failure-Handling
- Set to TERMINATE
- For Requested-Action type DIRECT_DEBIT, in the success case, this is the same as the Requested-Service-Unit AVP in the corresponding request. Otherwise, not present.
- Requests don't contain Requested-Service-Unit (RSU)
Event-Timestamp
- Set to the value of the Event-Timestamp AVP from the corresponding request.
Credit-Control-Failure-Handling
- Set to TERMINATE
If one need to able to override these AVPs, how this can be achieved with DCA?
