VPNNW1_ADD PI Command Fails if TAG and VALUE Parameters Are Used

On Oracle Communications Charging and Control Version (OC3C) 12.0.2 and above, it was observed that VPNNW1_ADD command fails if optional parameters TAG and VALUE are used.
The following error message is printed:
The provisioning interface (PI) uses TCP/IP-based UNIX sockets to receive provisioning commands and parameters. These are translated into SQL commands that update prepaid application tables of the SMF and E2BE Oracle databases.
VPNNW1 commands are used to provision VPN network information on the SMS. The PI commands are available for VPNNW1:
VPNNW1=ADD --> Add a VPN network
VPNNW1=CHG --> Modify a VPN network
VPNNW1=DEL --> Delete a VPN network
VPNNW1=QRY --> Query a VPN network
