CILPPAYP | Payment should get distributed and frozen without any error

SELECT ME.MATCH_EVT_ID, ME.ACCT_ID, ME.MEVT_CAN_RSN_CD, ME.PAY_ID, ME.MEVT_STATUS_FLG, ME.DISPUTE_SW, ME.CREATE_DT, ME.DESCR254, ME.VERSION, ME.ARCHIVE_SW FROM CI_MATCH_EVT ME WHERE ME.PAY_ID = :1 AND SUBSTR(ME.PAY_ID , 1 , 1) <> ' ' AND ME.ACCT_ID = :2 AND ME.MEVT_STATUS_FLG <> 'X' /* SQL for program 'com.splwg.ccb.domain.payment.service.ProgramCIPPMBSL_Impl', SQL name 'S_PAYME' */

Above query is seen in session time out due to PAY_ID being passed as white space chars. At the same time query has the condition SUBSTR(ME.PAY_ID , 1 , 1) <> ' '.

When we are already restricting PAY_ID with blank, then I think we must not primarily execute the query when input pay_id is BLANK, that should avoid such time outs. Invocation of the query itself is incorrect for blank pay_id based on where clause conditions.

ERROR

-------

Timeout error occurred.

STEPS:

-------

1. Create a Person, Account, Contract and Billable charges and bills.

2. Create a payment event; distribute only add more payments to the same payment event and distribute again and then freeze the payments. And try to search the payments created.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

------------------------

Payment should get distributed and frozen without any error and user should be able to search them.
