Symptoms
On all versions of Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), an account with 2 cycle products and 2 discounts, despite canceling one set mid-month, when billing is run, both charges are still being applied.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set up 2 cycle products and 2 discounts
2. Create an account and purchase both cycle products and both discounts
3. Set the end date of one of the products/discounts to mid-cycle
4. At the end of the month, run pin_cycle_fees and pin_discount_cleanup
5. Observe the outcome
The discounts are configured to apply the cycle charges/balance impacts.
