Symptoms

ECM 8.0.8 - Checkbox controls not loading due to java script error
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have a custom tab created on ECM 8.0.8. We are using checkbox control (n_control_type 2 in aai_ff_form_controls_b) with custom query in table AAI_FF_FORMS_CUSTOM_QUERIES for this checkbox control. The data being stored in the option key may contain special characters including single quotes, which is a valid scenario, but it is causing issues rendering the checkbox control in the HTML. See below javascript error that is occurring:

jquery-3.3.1.min.js:2 Uncaught (in promise) Error: Unable to process binding "with: function(){return checkBoxControlData }"
Message: Unable to process binding "ojComponent: {component:'ojCheckboxset',optionChange:internalOnChangeHandler,value:value,help:{definition:contextHelp},disabled:(vmode()==2)?true:false}"
