Web Client URL Does Not Redirect to IdP Login Page After Configuring Agile PLM as a SAML 2.0 Service Provider for SSO (Doc ID 2753111.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior

Configured SSO with SAML 2.0 to connect to SAML 2.0 Identity Provider (IdP, for example, Oracle IDCS or Okta), but Single Sign-On (SSO) is not working as expected.
Accessing to Web Client URL, it will show Web Client login page and does not bypass IdP login page

Expected Behavior

SSO with SAML 2.0 to connect to IDCS to work for Web Client


Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Configure SSO with SAML 2.0 to connect to IdP by following the instruction in the document:
    "Agile Product Lifecycle Management Administrator Guide Release 9.3.6", Appendix "A Configuring Single Sign-On" Section "Configure Agile PLM as a SAML 2.0 Service Provider"
    available from Agile Documentation Site
  2. Access to Web Client URL. It will show Web Client login page and do not bypass IdP login page
