Symptoms

Expanding Activity Search on the CDI causes session hang

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Dispatcher logon to a dispatcher shift and views the CDI.
2. Dispatcher has set the activity search zone to be collapsed by default, so it is collapsed most of the time.
3. Dispatcher duplicates some tabs, doing other work.
4. Sometime later the user hits the original CDI tab on the browser, then goes to the CDI search and expands it.
5. The Search seems to execute but hangs.
6. We notice that when this happens the CDI search screen does not show the query zone that is selected by default, instead it is blank.
