Installation Constant or Meter Multiplier Being Applied in Error when Manual IMD is Created
(Doc ID 2756241.1)
Last updated on MARCH 18, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management - Version 2.2.0.2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Measurement issue with multiplier being applied in error when Manual IMD is created.
When creating a new manual IMD in MDM for a date/time using ‘Copy Existing Measurements’, MDM is reapplying the installation constant or meter multiplier to the measurements that are already existing on the D1_MSMRT table. This results in inaccurate measurements using this function.
For example, if there is an IMD that comes in with quantity of 20 and then a multiplier of 5 is applied, the resulting measurement is saved with a value of 100.
Then if we use that same measurement as a basis for "Copy Existing Measurements" then the multiplier of 5 is applied again and the result is a measurement with a value of 500. It is expected that the multiplier would not be applied in this scenario.
