Sellable, Non-Orderable, Non-Inventory XItem Fails with ORA-20001 when STORE_ORD_MUILT Is C (Doc ID 2756734.1)

Last updated on MARCH 02, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When creating an item from an external system through the Retail Integration Bus (RIB), the value 'C' is sent in the STORE_ORD_MULT field, however, an error message is created in the RIB_MESSAGE_FAILURE table indicating that the expected value for that field is 'E'.

Error
-----------------------
"call RMSSUB_XITEM.CONSUME(?,?,?,?)}: [E] Error ORA-20001: [INV_ST_ORD_MULT_E]STORE_ORD_MULT"

What value you have to send through the external system to create the item and for this? What value of STORE_ORD_MULTI depends on the combination of values of the other fields?
