Symptoms
While shutdown the Agile application server using Agile shutdown scripts failing with the below error
Error
javax.naming.AuthenticationException: User failed to be authenticated. [Root exception is java.lang.SecurityException: User failed to be authenticated.]
Problem invoking WLST - Traceback (innermost last):

WLSTException: Error occurred while performing connect : User failed to be authenticated
Steps
- Login to Agile application server
- Go to <AGILEHOME>/agileDomain/bin
- Run the below command
stopAgile.sh/bat FORCE or stopServerAgileManaged1.sh/bat FORCE
Facts
- Shutdown of the Agile application server is working fine by running the below command in the following path <AGILEHOME>/agileDomain/bin
stopAgile.sh/bat FORCE <superadmin password> or stopServerAgileManaged1.sh/bat FORCE <superadmin password>

Applied Agile 9.3.6.14 RUP or Agile 9.3.6.15 RUP
