Applies to:Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management - Version 220.127.116.11 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
This document will provide instructions on how to add and configure any custom language with the use of translation kits, in addition to standard offering already bundled and configured with the following P6 20.12 modules:
- P6 (formerly known as Web Access)
- P6 Professional
There are no translations available for the Team Member applications.
Translation Kits are not appropriate for customers, they are only to be distributed to Partners.
- Partners need to support customers if they provide them any kind of language / GUI strings Oracle Primavera does not support them at all, Oracle Primavera does not own them, they are the partners responsibility once they choose to start to implement some language strings. No Oracle Primavera support is provided on any string work provided by partners. We can give the strings to any partners whether they used to be, or still are, or have never been, support providing partners. This is outside of that model. Oracle can give any partner some strings, but they are essentially on them from that point if they choose to use them with current releases.
- If there is some localization issue related to back-end/architectures/databases/character sets/strings, that is Oracle Primavera's responsibility to support and resolve. But if the issue is specifically about the GUI strings being incorrect / not working due to some localized strings the partner has provided or worked in the past or with the current kit being provided, Oracle Primavera doesn't support these.
For customers requesting information to find an Oracle Partner in their location, please request they perform a search at the Oracle Partner Network website: https://solutions.oracle.com/scwar/scr/Partners/index.html.
