Oracle Utilities Smart Grid Gateway (SGG) JMS Messages Not Routed to Configured Error Queues when an Error Occurs (Doc ID 2764237.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 20, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Smart Grid Gateway - Version 2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Not able to send JMS messages to Error Queues.  JMS Queues are configured on the OSB server which are then consumed by an MDB hosted in OUAF/SGG, which connects through a local Foreign Server / Destination setup.

For a negative test case scenario where the contents of the JMS Message will not be able to be saved in OUAF/SGG, it will reject the message and it will go back to OSB server queue.

We have setup Delivery failure redirection from Destination Queue -> Error Queue, but it was NOT Working as expected.  When the error occurs, the expectation is that it would go to the configured Error Queue but it is going back to the Destination Queue instead.  This happens for any fatal errors.

Relevant error in WLS logs on the OUAF/SGG managed server processing the message:

<BEA-055165> <The following exception has occurred:
java.lang.SecurityException: [Security:090398]Invalid Subject: principals=[system, Administrators, cisusers, CrossDomainConnectors].
