CFAS Date Attributes Do Not Have Ability To Show Timestamp In The Screen (Doc ID 2766555.1)

Goal

CFAS Date attributes do not have ability to show timestamp in the Screen.

In RMS, when setting up a CFAS attribute defined as a date, the user needs the ability to display the timestamp in the screen if it is included in the value. For example, we have PO Header CFAS attributes for Gate In/Out when the trucks arrive at/leave the WH that the customer desires to see the specific timestamp for. Ideally, these are defined as Date datatypes. But, because Date-defined attributes in CFAS only display the date, but not the time value, we have to use a VARCHAR2 instead.

The problem with this non-standard setup is that the reporting tools which take data from the RMS database have trouble managing this data for usage because they need to format it for use in their system. Ideally, it is stored as a date datetype with the timestamp and they can treat it like any other timestamped value.

What we believe is missing is the ability to configure if a CFAS attribute defined as a Date datetype can be displayed as a timestamp. Or, at a minimum, make all CFAS date datatypes show date and time.?
