Symptoms

Users are unable to upload files via Agile Web Client and see the following error in the browser console

Error

Access to XMLHttpRequest at https://abc.domain.com:8443/Filemgr/LFUploadServlet from origin https://efg.domain.com has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check:
The 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header has a value 'https://appserver:7002' that is not equal to the supplied origin.


Steps

  1. Log into Web Client with https://efg.domain.com/Agile/PLMServlet
  2. Open object and add file attachment
  3. Error

Facts

server.conf located on the File Manager under [Agile home]\agileDomain\config has the following settings

Users are not able to add attachments using the external URL
