Difference In Validation Results Between Batch Service And Assess Service Calls In OPA (Doc ID 2767111.1)

Symptoms

The SOAP based OPA Assess service gets correct response, whereas the Batch/REST service gets response that the input data is invalid when using policies with hierarchical value lists provided by a connector.

Steps:

  1. Import the JSON file in SOAPUI for Batch/Rest Service.
  2. Import the Assess Service WSDL in SOAPUI for OPA Assess Service.
  3. When Testing with OPA Assess Service Request via SOPAUI correct response is shown.

           

        4. When Testing the Batch/Rest Service via SOPAUI getting input data is invalid as response.
