Symptoms

In a non-Workflow, Document type Business Process, a user is able to Add General Comments even though the "Add General Comments" check box is not checked under Permissions for this Business Process.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

If the Add General Comments permission is not granted, users should not be able to add a General Comment to the BP record.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier environment.
  2. Navigate to the Project/Shell where the issue is been observed > Admin Mode > User Administration > User > Choose the user viewing the BP record > Permissions tab > Business Process in User Mode.
  3. The "Add General Comments" permission check box is unchecked.
  4. Go to User Mode > Business Process > Open any non-WF BP record that exists.
  5. The User is able to add General Comments.
