Goal
What can be done if the "EFFECTIVE_TO_DATE" column in FSI_EXCHNG_RATE_DIRECT_ACCESS table is null for few dates (excluding for the latest date)? Because of this, the rate conversion in CONS_DTL_XXXX table is not happening correctly.
Running the Exchange Rate Validation might fail or hung if all the dates are executed since the number of dates is huge. How can the issue be resolved?
It has been observed that:
(1) When Exchange Rate Validation is run daily, 'fsi_exchng_rate_direct_access' table is properly populated with valid exchange rates.
(2) When Exchange Rate Validation is run on prior month-end (i.e. back dated run, say you run Exchange Rate Validation on March on an as_of_date=28th Feb, with start date = 27th Feb and end date = 28th Feb), then in 'fsi_exchng_rate_direct_access' table which already had entry for 28th Feb (before back-dated batch execution), entry for 28th Feb goes blank in 'effective_to_date' column.
