Multi-line reason in sieve reject and limitation of 256 characters (Doc ID 2770948.1)

Is there a limit to the length of a reason we can specify on a reject action in sieve?

Here is a fragment that demonstrates what we want to do:

What we end up getting in the resulting bounce message seems to have lost the mutli-line nature and gets truncated around 256 characters.

How can we use sieve to, as a reaction to a header being added by a milter callout, bounce a message with a reason like above?
