Symptoms

When running an ALM Process, you are getting the following ORA-01438 error in the Cash Flow Engine (ofsrm) log following an insert into RES_DTL_xxxxx or CONS_DTL_xxxxx:

Module Logging OFS errors: (203105) Oracle drv_oci error: OCI Function: [4] -
oexec(),
oexn() SQL Function: [3] -
INSERT Oracle Error: ORA- 01438: value larger than specified
precision allowed for this column Driver Function:
drv_oci::Execute()

Module Logging OFS errors: (203055) Message String Too Long
or Not Defined

Module Logging OFS errors: (203055) Error Executing SQL statement.

If you un-select "Average Life" in the Calculation Elements screen, the process runs successfully.
