When Try to Upload File Attachment Getting Error: "Your Preferred File Manager Is Not Accessible. Please Contact The System Administrator" When installed File Manager on existing Agile Application Server (Doc ID 2776457.1)

Symptoms

When a user tries to upload a file from Agile Web Client to an existing File Manager which is installed on the same server as the application server an error is displayed.

ERROR:
Your preferred File Manager is not accessible. Please contact the system administrator


STEPS:

  1. Start the Agile Application Server and the File Manager Server
  2. Log into Agile 9.3.6 Web Client
  3. Open Part object, Go to Attachment Tab and try to add/upload a file
  4. Getting error

FACT:

Issue is also reproducible in Java Client.
 

Changes

 New installation of File Manager IFS on existing Agile Application server.
