Can the smsAlarmDaemon Process be Configured to Dynamic/Alternate Log Locations? (Doc ID 2776471.1)

Goal

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C), the smsAlarmDaemon is responsible for parsing the Oracle database alert log and the Operating System (OS) messages log and replicating these alarms to the Service Management System (SMS) server for further processing.

If the log files being parsed by the smsAlarmDaemon processes are being rotated/dynamically written to, is it possible for the smsAlarmDaemon to follow the log files?

As an example, if the OS messages log file is being written to:

will smsAlarmDaemon be able to follow the new log file each day?
