Activate Datasheet Checkbox is Kept Grayed Out When a Term is Added (Doc ID 2776525.1)

Last updated on JULY 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety - Version 8.2.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a term is added to an active Datasheet on Argus Console, the Activate Datasheet check-box is kept grayed out.
As a result, the activation date for the new Datasheet Revision with the newly added Term is unable to be specified.

Once a Datasheet is activated, the Activate Datasheet check-box is kept grayed out at Datasheet Term edits.
As a result, the activation date entered when the Datasheet was initially activated is inherited by all subsequent Datasheet Revisions with newly added Terms.

Steps to Repeat:

  1. Create an active Datasheet on Argus Console Product Family. Confirm the Date field beside [Other Date] field has date value.
  2. Add a new term to the Datasheet by clicking [Add Term (J)] or [Add Term] button.
  3. Save. ---> Activate Datasheet check-box is kept grayed out.
