File Manager Log Shows "This is very likely to create a memory leak" When Stopping File Manager Service (Doc ID 2776584.1)

Seeing below error in File Manager log (catalina.log):


02-May-2021 21:36:21.725 WARNING [localhost-startStop-2] org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoaderBase.clearReferencesThreads The web application [Filemgr] appears to have started a thread named [me W-4] but has failed to stop it. This is very likely to create a memory leak. Stack trace of thread:

02-May-2021 21:36:21.740 SEVERE [localhost-startStop-2] org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoaderBase.checkThreadLocalMapForLeaks The web application [Filemgr] created a ThreadLocal with key of type [org.owasp.esapi.reference.AbstractAuthenticator.ThreadLocalUser] (value [org.owasp.esapi.reference.AbstractAuthenticator$ThreadLocalUser@578f153]) and a value of type [org.owasp.esapi.User$1] (value [org.owasp.esapi.User$1@27c9e4c5]) but failed to remove it when the web application was stopped. Threads are going to be renewed over time to try and avoid a probable memory leak.


1. Start File Manager
2. Login to Web Client, and perform file upload/download
3. Stop File Manager server
4. Check catalina.log under %Agile_Home%\FileManager\logs, and see the error
