OFSAA UI Does Not Come Up Post OFSAAI and ALM Upgrade to 8.0.6

Symptoms
The login page does not appear after running the OFSAAI & ALM upgrade to 806 from 8.0.2 version. The upgrade for both AAI and ALM appear to be successful.
The screen shows the following error:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Invoked ALM utility and upgraded OFSAAI to 806
2. Invoked ALM utility again and upgraded ALM (custom data model upload done during upgrade). Model upload and upgrade of ALM went successfully. No errors in log.
3. Re-created ear file and deployed in Websphere
