In SAML 2.0 SSO Configured Instance, After Login, Gets 'Service Unavailable' (Doc ID 2782006.1)

Symptoms

After configuring SSO (single sign-on) with a SAML 2.0 Identity Provider (i.e IDCS, Okta) for Agile PLM, unable to log into Web Client with below error:


Error

Service Unavailable

Fact

Apache web proxy is configured to connect to Web Client


Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Access to Web Client URL
  2. It shows SSO login screen
  3. Give Username and password
  4. URL redirects to ../saml2/sp/acs/post, but the page shows
    Information:
    The information you submitted is not protected
  5. Then the page shows:
    Service Unavailable
    The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later
