P6 Professional Custom Report Takes Several Minutes to Load on the First Attempt for Some Users (Doc ID 2782676.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

A custom report in P6 Professional takes approximately twenty minutes to load on the first attempt for certain users; all subsequent report previews display in seconds.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The report should always open within seconds for all users.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open P6 Professional and select the Reports tab.
  2. Click the Preview button to view the report in the Printer view.
  3. Observe the reported behavior.
