Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution - Version 6.3.0 to 6.3.1 [Release 6.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Unable to log-on using the MetaSolv Solution tbs.exe client after upgrading the WebLogic Serverversion from 12.2.1.2 to 12.2.1.4 using the WebLogic Reconfiguration Wizard. The application throws a "data-related" error indicating it cannot establish a connection to database. Additionally, there was a "GenericStartup.init() failed" error in the ${SERVER_NAME}.mss.log when the server was restarted. The restart failed due to a "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/slf4j/LoggerFactory" exception during "TBSAPICORBAServer.init()" as evidenced by the error captured in the appserverlog.xml log file. Below are the complete text of the errors.
