On : 7.5.0.11.0 version, Pipeline Manager
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Tier rates applied incorrectly.
A common message counter (1000116) which increments with each incoming call data record (CDR) and keep the count of CDR. this increment counter is used to track the tier and charge the rate accordingly.
The eleventh CDR is rated with the rate of tier 0-10.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The 11th CDR should be rated at different rate [11 -21] as the tier is changing, For 21st and 31st CDRs. it is working as expected.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Discount rule is configured for tiered based charging. Configured tiers are as follows: (0-11 will correspond to 0-10)
0-11
11-21
21-31
31-infinity
Which correspond to 0-10, 11-20, 21-30 and 30 and above tiers.
2. Keep passing the usage and check the behavior when the 11th cdr is passed.
