Symptoms

Checked boxes in a Word document are showing as expected in AutoVue. However, when printed from AutoVue, the checked boxes appear blank (unchecked).



Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new Word document.
  2. From Word, click on the "Developer" tab.
  3. Click on the "Legacy Tools" icon.
  4. Select the check box option under "Legacy Forms".
  5. Once added, double click on the check box, and set it to "Checked".
  6. Save the file.
  7. Open the newly created file using AutoVue.
  8. Click on File > Print in order to print the file.
  9. Look at the output. Notice the checked boxes are blank.
