ACP Export Fails with Error "Unable to ensure user has Administrator's privileges to access Agile instance" and "com.agile.admin.client.value.AbstractNode; local class incompatible" (Doc ID 2792711.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run ACP (Agile Configuration Propagation) export, the following error occurs in export.err



Error

Error Context:
Unable to ensure user has Administrator's privileges to access Agile instance.
Call APIException.getRootCause() for details.

Error Cause:
com.agile.admin.client.value.AbstractNode; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = -xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, local class serialVersionUID = -yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy (java.io.InvalidClassException)


Fact

There is no role/privilege change made to out of box "propagation" user, and user has privileges explained in Chapter "5 User Requirements" in "Agile Product Lifecycle Management Agile Configuration Propagation Guide Release"

Steps

  1. Create ACP Project, and configure project.properties
  2. Launch command line, and run  
  3. Specify user "propagation" when prompted to input user
  4. ACP fails with error
  5. Check export.err log. See the error in the log
