Symptoms

When importing an XER file via P6 Professional, the following error occurs:

The selected file contains Project data. The import cannot continue.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to P6 Professional.
  2. Attempt to import an XER file.
  3. Observe error.
