On feeders that have SCADA devices as feeder heads, and SCADA devices (i.e. regulator) mid-feeder, operators are seeing drastically different Load results from Powerflow between real-time and study mode.
In real-time, the Load gradually decreases from the feeder head and drops to zero around mid-feeder.
In study-mode, the same feeder shows very high values of Load with the entire feeder being overloaded.
How To Repeat:
Open / Close a Cap from SCADA
Without fix: Observe that the device can produce 7 times the correct number of kVARs.
With fix: Correct kVAR is generated.
