"Value Required For This Item" Error When Attempt To Open Task Type Drop-down While Adding A Task (Doc ID 2796527.1)

Symptoms

After assigning a provision plan, when the users attempt to add/Insert a Child/Sibling task and click the arrow of the Task Type Drop Down, the application responds with a "Value required for this item" message instead of showing the list of Task Types. After clicking OK, the message disappears and the dropdown contents are displayed. This problem is seen in other mandatory dropdown fields as well.

If we click on the arrow for the Task Type dropdown list, the following error message appears.
