Changed Made to a List Through Direct Database Update Is Not Seen in JavaClient (Doc ID 2797000.1)

Symptoms

Try to update the description for a list through database through running SQLs against Agile database. However, the changes are not reflected in the list in JavaClient.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run the SQL:
    update listentry set description='SYRINGE HYPODERMIC NEEDLES, WITH SAFETY SYSTEMS' where entryvalue='A0101010101' and parentid=2477579;
    commit;
  2. Login to JavaClient. Open the list. The description is the same as before.
