EBS-PS: PS Solve Ends in an Infeasible Schedule Error When the Work Order Requested Date Falls Outside the Solver Planning Horizon (Doc ID 2797602.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to solve PS model with a work order requested date set in the future i.e. outside of the planning horizon, the following error occurs.

Solve Failed
Schedule: XYZ
Error: Temporal Precedence Constraint Error

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a PS model and setup Planning horizon from Jan 1, 2000 to Jan 31, 2000
  2. Create multiple work orders with different requested date falling between Jan 1 and Jan 31.
  3. Create a work order with requested date on Jan 1, 2003.
  4. Solve the model.
  5. Observe it ends in an schedule infeasible error with the error log showing the following "Temporal Precedence Constraint Error".
