Unable to set event decision for CS cases

Steps to reproduce the problem:

Login to ECM using an analyst or supervisor user
Choose a CS case
Try to set the event decision using the set decision hyper link
One error message gets displayed and if we click ok then the event decision window opens
But we are unbale to select any option from the drop down list available
