Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
User is trying to initiate the installation by executing the .exe directly, and gets a message indicating that the Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported.
User then launches the .exe using the -i GUI, which seems to expose the user interface as expected. The install appears to continue normally until there is a notice of errors on the completion dialog. It instructs to check the install log, but there is no content in the log found in the \uninstall\Logs directory.
After closing that dialog, there is no trace of AutoVue in Control Panel -> Uninstall a program nor any program information, outside of components, in the registry.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Should be able to use AutoView or locate installation logs for further details regarding the errors
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Execute AutoVue installer
2. Launch the .exe using the -i GUI
3. Receive the following pop-up window "The installation of Oracle Autovue is finished, but some errors occurred during the install. Please see the installation logs for details."
